Job Summary
Operate articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption, Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes and other equipment, Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Dry bulk, Tractor-trailer, 2 axels (tandem)
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
CDL licence
English spoken and written – Reliability, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility
Tractor-trailer driving experience an asset. (must have 1-year experience)
Clean driving record check (abstract), Drug test, Criminal record check, Basic security clearance
RUNS
Trips Charlotte, Fayetteville to Laredo – 5-6 days turn with 2 days off
About 2500 miles/week
Brand new truck
Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Trip reports, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
