Job Summary

Under the supervision of Human Resources Canada, the Human Resources Administrative Technician provides technical assistance to human resources management partners in matters of group insurance, clerical documents and file follow-up. He/she also assists the entire rh team in drafting letters, reports, revising special files, recruiting and more.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and update employee files in the various computer systems (group insurance and pension funds).
  • Answer employee questions related to group insurance and pension funds.
  • Provide administrative/clerical support in human resources related to hiring (prepare new employee’s kit, have employees complete rh documents, various reports, etc.).
  • Consolidate various invoices related to the Human Resources department.
  • Ensures the induction and integration process for new employees.
  • Processes hirings and departures in accordance with established policies.
  • Creates and maintains various reports required by HR departments.
  • With the support of the HR team, write various communications for the department (confirmation of employment, discipline, etc.).
  • Transfer information and follow up on disability and OHS files (as required).

 

Required Skills

  • Organized and meticulous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits an asset.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
  • Dynamic

 

Requirements

  • AEC, DEP or DEC in administration or human resources, or equivalent experience.
  • English
