C.A.T. Inc., Transportation company in business for over 40 years, is looking for a dynamic candidate for the following opportunity at its head office in Coteau-du-Lac ;

Business Analyst – Transport

Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the candidate will be responsible to coordinate all technology requests related to Transport (Sales, Customer Service, Planning, Dispatch, Maintenance, etc…) with the internal and external IT resources.

Role

  • Participate in the implementation of a new TMS solution in a multi-company environment
  • Define integration points with other systems, and coordinate the development and implementation of all interfaces
  • Develop and document new processes in collaboration with the business teams
  • Act as the liaison between the business teams and the IT Internal and External teams
  • Translate business requirements, operational and functional requirements for the IT Teams
  • Manage own workload and priorities, and hold status meetings with Management to report on progress
  • Perform quality control testing and coordinate/support user acceptance testing
  • Lead software selection process for new solutions to be deployed
  • Research, identify and recommend new functionality and/or systems to improve team effectiveness
  • Support new users on systems and procedures

Requirements

  • Bilingual (written and spoken)
  • Computer Science or Business Analysis Certification
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with system implementation, ideally a TMS
  • Knowledge of Transportation Industry
